Everything Scrapp'n Blog Hop

I want to share the two projects I made as part of my GDT work for Everything Scrapp'n for March.

The first page is called "Make a Wish" and it's a pic of me as a little girl. I really love these Cosmo Cricket pp's - when they first came out, it made me think of this pic of myself.

Supply List:
Cosmo Cricket pp: Earth Love - Remember, CC pp: Earth Love - Relive, CC Earth Love Ready-Set-Chip, CC Earth Love Elements, Webster's Pages Olive Trim, ZVA Creative Pearl Soft Blue Flourishes.

I have to say, my favorite product here were the ZVA pearl flourishes - I think they really "make" the LO - it just wouldn't be the same without them! What I love to do, is cut them apart to make them perfect for my LO's. I rarely use them as they come.

Here's my second LO - it's called 19 Weeks. It's from way back when I was pregnant with DD...so just about 6 years ago now. I always loved these pics (even though DH thinks the special effects make me look like I'm pregnant with a devil baby...but I've gotten pretty good at ignoring his remarks :) I really loved this pp from My Mind's Eye - it's such a gorgeous line!

Supply List:
12 x 12 Dots all around Stencil, My Mind's Eye pp Bellezo - Belleza, MME pp Bellezo - Exquisite Beauty, MME pp Bellezo - French Boutique, ZVA Creative Double Flourishes Pearl - Soft Blue, ZVA Creative Taupe Pearl Flourishes (I think they're already sold out....not surprised!)

My favorite product I used here was my new circle template! This thing is even more awesome in person. It's very thick plastic with holes all around (pictured below as black dots). What I did, was place it over my LO where I wanted a circle, and then went around and put Liquid Pearls into the holes. After removing the template, I put more dots in between the ones I already had to make them closer together. I also used the template to make the inner circle. I placed the template over the paper where I wanted to trace it and used a marker to draw around, which gave me dashes on the paper. I cut it out with an Exacto knife. The marker then easily washed off the template. Since the circles are all nested into each other, I could choose a smaller circle for my inner one, and a larger one for my outer one. Love my new template. There are other shapes in the store as well.

  7. Both layouts are gorgeous, but I may have to scraplift the "make a wish"....I think the heavily distressed edges and the windy swirls look great with the photo! Very creative!
