New Year's Cards!

I have a whole blog post on the BoBunny BLOG today full of ideas on making the most of your Pearlescents, and I wanted to share a couple more cards here.

For my first card, I used Pearlescents along the edge to add a snowy feel and some definition. I also added some BoBunny flowers and buttons, and layered and distressed the paper from the Altitude collection.

To create the raised circles, I used BoBunny "Brocade" Stickable Stencil with molding paste, and misted with BoBunny "Frost" glimmer Spray.

For my second card, I again used the stencil, spray, and molding paste, as well as the pretty BoBunny flowers. Here, I used "Sugar" Pearlescents to add centers to the snowflakes and to dot the "i's". The white Pealescents looks just like tiny pearls when applied, and has the added benefit of creating a dot as big or as small as you need it to be. This card was also created with the Altitude collection.

Altered mini album in a tin!

Hello, today I'm sharing a little altered mini album I created that fits into a small round tin. I used all BoBunny products ("Rose Café" collection paper and chipboard and die cuts, crystal swirls, liquid paint, etc.). I got the various quotes from my "quotes" Pinterest board - so fun to have an excuse to browse it :)

A wintery layout

Just in time for us to get a bit of snow around here, I thought I would share a recent BoBunny LO featuring the new Altitude collection. Can I just say again how much I love it? I always love BoBunny's winter collections (who remembers "Snowy Serenade"??), but this has to be one of my favorites... and not just because they added purple :)

This is a picture of my dad and I when I was a baby. And I added some molding paste, a little misting, some distressing, and Pearlescents blended around the edge to create a bit of a frame and give it a little bit of a pearly glow.

All the supplies (paper, chipboard, washi tape, crystal swirls, etc.) are by BoBunny.

Using scraps to make cards...

And here is the last set of cards I made with the "Nest" collection. As I mentioned before, I was able to create 6 layered layouts and 13 cards using the collection (12 patterned papers and 3 sheets of vellum).

Yep, I used the smallest scraps - even the cut off strips from the sheets - like in this first card:

Pretty paper goes a long way...

Sharing a few more cards using the "Nest" collection. The first three cards are simply cut from the gorgeous paper and inked around the edges. The paper is beautiful enough to stand on its own as a card, and perfect for sticking in an envelope and mailing, since there are no added embellishments to add bulk.

The last card today is again just the awesome text paper with a simple vellum overlay attached with staples at the edges. Simple and easy, but a really cool effect! Just shows how much you can do with some gorgeous paper in a matter of minutes :)

"Nest" cards!

This week, I'm sharing the 13 cards I made with the leftovers from the "Nest" collection pack from Webster's Pages. I used a lot of vellum and did a lot of machine stitching to attach it. The cardstock is all BoBunny "Double Dot".

Here are the first two cards. I'm going to add a sentiment inside the frames (depending on what kind of card I need it to be). I distressed and inked the edges:

Beautiful memories

I found this pic of my mom with her grandmother, and I had to scrap it, of course. My mom's flower dress was a perfect match for the new "Rose CafĂ©" collection by BoBunny. The colors in the collection are really vintage and the patterns are flowery. I also used layered chipboard stickers, 12x12 sticker sheet, and buttons from the collection, as well as the "Noteworthy" die cuts. The flowers are by BoBunny as well. They were too pink for this layout, so I used BoBunny's new Glimmer Spray (bronze) to darken them. The bling swirls are also by BoBunny.

A butterfly must have a little sunshine...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is having a great one.

Thank you for stopping by today. I'm sharing my final layout I was able to make with the "Nest" paper collection by Webster's Page. I just love the "photo real" patterned papers that were included in this collection, and of course I had to use them. This sheet was perfect for a photo of Morgan in a green field peppered with tiny yellow flowers. Again, I added some "Magic Mesh" and stitched around the edges of the vellum to give it more definition. Again, the cardstock is BoBunny's "Double Dot" cardstock - it's thick and textured, and has wonderful colors to choose from.

Here's my layout. I hope you guys like it!

Have faith in yourself....

I created this layout using Webster's Pages "Nest" collection. I added in some really old "Magic Mesh" that I had in my stash, as well as a super old Prima bling swirl. The Prima light bulb is new, though :)

Be sure to stop by tomorrow - I'll share my 6th - and last - layout using this collection.

New York

Today I have another layout using "Nest" by Webster's Pages, and I went in a totally different direction with this one - it's a lot brighter and more modern. I cut out a little frame from the paper to put around NYC on the map. And I got to use a new Prima light bulb that I bought... so fun :) I also used some really old "Dew Drops" by Robin's Nest to put inside the flowers. I adhered them with Aleene's white glue, and was happy to discover that it dries completely clear.

Vintage Love

This week, I'm going to share four more layouts I made with the Webster's Pages "Nest" collection pack (12 patterned papers and 3 vellum sheets). I shared a couple last week, so in total, I was able to make 6 layered layouts and 13 cards. I only have a few itty bitty scraps left, and I did have to supplements with several sheets of cardstock - I used BoBunny double dot cardstock.

This layout is about my grandparents (my mom's parents). The paper was perfect for a vintage feel. I added some Studio Calico wood stars, Prima flowers and bling, lace, cameo, Melissa Frances resin frame, and Xyron machine to adhere the vellum. Staples, stitching, and Xyron are the best ways to adhere it without the adhesive showing.

Archery Lesson

Another layout today using the "Nest" collection from Webster's pages. This pp with all the pretty feathers on it was perfect for the photo of Morgan with all the arrows around her. She loved taking Archery. After "Hunger Games" and "Brave", she was all up for it. I remember being about her age and taking archery... so fun.

I added some real feathers (they came as a trim, making them super easy to work with). I also dug out some of my old "Magic Mesh" in lime green and added for texture. Again, stitching around the vellum to make it stand out a little more, and used tissue paper to frame the photo for a more airy feel.

The cardstock is BoBunny double dot, and the sparkly letters are Thickers. The little letters are from Webster's Pages. I popped up a lot of the elements, and used a La La Land die to make the leaves up top.
