Hey Punksters! We here at Punky Sprouts are having a blog hop to celebrate 2012 and ring in 2013. Hop along with us, leaving comments at each blog to enter to win a great Punky Prize Pack! You could win an album of your choice along with Punky embellishments and a Lindy’s mist!

Punky Party Rules-Leave a comment on each designer’s blog and then on the Punky Sprouts blog to be entered to win the Punky Prize Pack. Comments must be posted by midnight, Friday, January 7th PST to be eligible for the random drawing.

Here's my project. I used the Punky Playground (corrugated cardboard 12x12 sheet) and a Punky Sprouts Lil' lacy blossom (the doily). I also used the adorable new digi stamp from Sweet Nothings Stamp Co - she's called Snowman Love Sophie (and she's available for download HERE). And the always gorgeous crystal flourishes and beautiful flowers are from Flourish With A Bling. Hope you guys like it! I added lots of crackle paint for a more snowy effect and colored Sophie up with my fave Copics :)

Ok, now hop on over to Joscie's blog. And make sure to leave comments on all the blogs on the hop to be eligible to win the prize from Punky Sprouts!

Here’s the order of blogs in case you get lost along the way.

Flying Unicorn Guest DT!

Today, I have the pleasure of sharing projects I made using the Flying Unicorn January 2013 kit - "Carpe Diem"!! It's so gorgeous, it's unbelievable. I had the main kit and all the add-ons to design with, so there was a ton of stuff! OMG, I was so excited to open my package. It was full of Pink Paislee (Portfolio) and Fancy Pants....and...Basic Grey's "Serenade"! I was so excited to get that - I've been dying to get that line but it was sold out everywhere. It'[s even more gorgeous in person. Also, you get lots of cool mediums and other goodies to design with. I supplemented with my lovely stash of Flourish With a Bling flourishes (and a fence embellie).

There's also a box, with a 6x6 mini that fits inside, and enough 6x6 Magnolia pp's to finish it! It has a cover + 5 pages and my plan is to finish it off with my collection of Magnolia stamps - I have 5 now, so it's perfect :) So far, I did alter the box itself. The mini album will be about my fave quotes. The top I altered using a corrugated cardboard pp sheet that was part of the kit:

I also made some layouts from Halloween. The first one is my son, "Knight in Shining Armour":

Another one from Halloween 2012, my daughter, "Snow Princess":

And finally, a layout of both of the kids from a couple months ago, at the Pumpkin Patch:

Goodbye Imaginisce!

Sadly, the time has come for me to bid goodbye to Imaginisce. It has been an amazing year of getting to work with their tools and products. The paper lines and all that goes with them have been absolutely adorable, and the tools have been some of my favorites (I-Top anyone?? Gotta love being able to make your own brads and flair :)

The team was such an amazing team to work with - sweet and talented. We had absolutely no drama, and I can honestly say I like every single one of the wonderful ladies I worked with. Cari was the best DT leader, very caring and organized, which helped make this year all that it was. I'm going to miss all of them. On that note, I wanted to share a few of my favorite layouts from the past 12 months, using some of my favorite paper lines from this year. And this won't be the last from me - I created four layouts for the winter CHA show, so I'll be sharing those in a few months...let's just say that you're going to LOVE the new lines ;)

Now, for the last stop on today's hop, check out Diana's blog!

Luv U

Luvin' me some Punky Sprouts and My Little Shoebox - what a great combo! I couldn't wait to get my hands on the "Oh Deer" like by MLS, it's sooo cute! But then again, MLS is well-known for its cuteness factor :) I thought the woodgrain pp was perfect to pair with some Lil' Stems from Punky Sprouts - both have a more earthy, natural appeal.

For the LO, I thought it would be fun to cut apart the journaling blocks pp and use a part of it to frame the photo:

To create the canvas flower, I used some canvas Lil' Stems - I simply cut it up, glued it to a cardstock base, and finished off with a punched flower and a brad - super easy to create masculine flowers:

I also used the canvas Lil' Stems to decorate the punch-out cardstock borders that come with this collection. I think adding the canvas detail made the border more earthy, masculine, and interesting:

Thanks for stopping by! Here are the supplies I used:
Canvas Lil'Stems: Punky Sprouts
Paper, Die-Cuts, Stickers, Letter Stickers: My Little Shoebox
Ink: Tsukineko
Marker: Sharpie
Color Spray: Maya Road
Foam Letters: American Crafts
Punch: Ek Success
Brads: Basic Grey, Sassafras Lass
Other: cardstock, clothing tags

More Christmas cards!

Wanted to share a couple cards using "Christmas Cheer" by Imaginisce. These were really quick and easy to make - I especially love the package of die-cuts for card-making.

A little mixin' 'n matchin'

Hi all, just wanted to share a LO I made for Imaginisce - the challenge for the DT was to create a project using pp from one collection, die-cuts from another, and chipboard embellies from a third. I love to mix things up a bit, so this was a really fun challenge for me!

PP is from "Love You More"
Die cut (title) from "Hello Cupcake"
Chipboard (leaves) from "Monster Mash"

Another giftbag!

These giftbags are so fun and addicting to make! I used the gorgeous Prima Almanac collection (I had the A4 paper pad), and the absolutely adorable "Shopping Bag Sophie" digi stamp from Sweet Nothings Stamp Company. I paper pieced her pants and top, as well as her bow and a few of the giftbags she's holding (how perfect is that for decorating a giftbag?? LOL).

For the black bling swirls and the black row of gems, I used Flourish With a Bling "Kate's Corner Flourish".

I added a gift-tag to the bag - I cut it out of the pp, backed it on sturdy black cardstock, and finished off with a large silver eyelet. For the butterfly, I added black and white stickles to the wing tips. The pretty black ribbon is from May Arts. And as always, Sophie is colored with Copics. Btw, if you want to pick up some of these bags to decorate yourself, they're super cheap at Michael's - I got a pack of 13, and they ended up being about a quarter each (after coupon).

Gearing up for WINTER

With some wintery home decor. But who says winter can' be bright and fun? I used the Teenie Beanie Sprout album from Punky Sprouts - I used the banner and bracket pages from two of these albums and put them together to create a fun banner. This month we're celebrating the season on the Punky blog, so come check out what the rest of the DT created as well :)

For more interest, I lightly distressed the edges with my scissors:

I also backed all the chipboard stickers with paper for more emphasis:

At the top of each page, and under some of the elements, I added icicles that I cut out of glitter cardstock:

I popped all the chipboard letters up with pop dots for more emphasis:

I added the doilies that I cut out using my Cheery Lynn die, and backed some of them with cardstock to help them stand out from the background paper. I also inked their edges:

Mini Album: Punky Sprouts (Teenie Beanie Sprout)
Paper, Dimensional Chipboard Stickers: Crate Paper (Snow Day)
Die-Cutting Machine: Sizzix (Big Shot)
Dies: Cheery Lynn Designs (French Pastry Doily), My Favorite Things (Icicles)
Buttons: Fancy Pants Designs
Flowers: Prima Marketing
Chalk Ink: Tsukineko
Glitter Cardstock: Die Cuts With A View
Other: seam binding, chipboard letters, cardstock
