For those of you who know me, I've been on the DT at Scrapbook Challenges for this past term, and I've loved every single minute of it. Sadly, my life has gotten really busy, so I won't be able to renew my DT position, but I will certainly be coming back as a member - membership is for life! LOL

Ah, the beach!

Well, I'm still away on vacation, but I thought I'd share a beach LO I did, since I'm at the beach this week. So this is a scheduled post and I scheduled a post for ScrapStreet's blog with this LO. More beautiful ZVA here!

I'm leaving tomorrow, and I'll be back next Sunday! I'll be returning with lots of cute beach pics to scrap. DH and I are taking the kids and my parents are joining along :) I'll miss you all, but check in with me while I'm gone - I couldn't leave without making sure that some updates will take place. ScrapStreet, here I come!!

I have the most amazing, unbelievable news to share (well, at least it's unbelievable to me!). I have been accepted to be staff writer and designer for ScrapStreet, which I'm sure you all have heard of, and if not, you have to check it out! It's a wonderful online mag, full of new articles and features and gorgeous talent from all over the world, month after month. I am just so grateful I get to be a part of the unbelievable team. Here are the new gals that are joining up - HERE.

This is super-exciting for me because I love writing as much as a I love scrapping, and this new DT position will enable me to combine both! I am one of their new "feature" writers, which means I get to do an article every month on a trend in scrapbooking that really caught my attention. I can't wait to get started! And look for my work in the upcoming issues in the "The Showroom" section where we get to showcase product from various manufacturers that are supporters of the mag.

Ok, what's UP with the weather?!

Yesterday we had over 80 degrees, sweltering hot (felt like it was 90, at least), and today we have a high of 60 and a low of 40. How do you get a 40 degree weather change in one day?? Global warming, that's how, I guess.

Scraptacular DT!!!!

Oh my gosh, I have the most exciting news! I will be joining the Scraptacular DT! I am currently their guest designer and I will be staying on for the next 6 months. I guess they like me :) They really like me! LOL

Liz Chidester is also joining the team as our sketch artist, and will provide us with one sketch a month!

I really love this store and it's not just lip service since I'm on the DT! LOL The reason I became a GDT for them is that I found them when I was looking for new places to shop, right around Christmas, and I really loved their store and all the supplies Beth has. So I contacted her and applied to be GDT. And of course, since they were having a DT call right now, I had to apply for that too!

I Love Dirt

Remember those pics I shared of DS in tree dirt? I scrapped them :) And btw, he's STILL getting into the tree dirt! He's my little rascal. This one is called "I Love Dirt"...for obvious reasons!
