A little mixin' 'n matchin'

Hi all, just wanted to share a LO I made for Imaginisce - the challenge for the DT was to create a project using pp from one collection, die-cuts from another, and chipboard embellies from a third. I love to mix things up a bit, so this was a really fun challenge for me!

PP is from "Love You More"
Die cut (title) from "Hello Cupcake"
Chipboard (leaves) from "Monster Mash"

Another giftbag!

These giftbags are so fun and addicting to make! I used the gorgeous Prima Almanac collection (I had the A4 paper pad), and the absolutely adorable "Shopping Bag Sophie" digi stamp from Sweet Nothings Stamp Company. I paper pieced her pants and top, as well as her bow and a few of the giftbags she's holding (how perfect is that for decorating a giftbag?? LOL).

For the black bling swirls and the black row of gems, I used Flourish With a Bling "Kate's Corner Flourish".

I added a gift-tag to the bag - I cut it out of the pp, backed it on sturdy black cardstock, and finished off with a large silver eyelet. For the butterfly, I added black and white stickles to the wing tips. The pretty black ribbon is from May Arts. And as always, Sophie is colored with Copics. Btw, if you want to pick up some of these bags to decorate yourself, they're super cheap at Michael's - I got a pack of 13, and they ended up being about a quarter each (after coupon).

Gearing up for WINTER

With some wintery home decor. But who says winter can' be bright and fun? I used the Teenie Beanie Sprout album from Punky Sprouts - I used the banner and bracket pages from two of these albums and put them together to create a fun banner. This month we're celebrating the season on the Punky blog, so come check out what the rest of the DT created as well :)

For more interest, I lightly distressed the edges with my scissors:

I also backed all the chipboard stickers with paper for more emphasis:

At the top of each page, and under some of the elements, I added icicles that I cut out of glitter cardstock:

I popped all the chipboard letters up with pop dots for more emphasis:

I added the doilies that I cut out using my Cheery Lynn die, and backed some of them with cardstock to help them stand out from the background paper. I also inked their edges:
