Boy, Oh Boy
Ok...remember many months ago, when DS was obsessed with our tree and liked to dig through the dirt? (BTW, he still does that every now and then). Well, this LO is about the fun he had when we weer outside a couple days ago. He found a pot of dirt and happily dug through it...and smeared it on himself...and threw it down his shirt and ALL over his head...and yes, he even tried to eat it. As in, there was dirt in his mouth and he chewed it with determination before finally giving up...yep, he's a boy, through and through!
That same day we were outside, I got some great pics of DD and she actually got a few really good ones of me! I was so excited LOL...there are never any good pics of! Next time I want some, I'll be sure to ask her instead of DH ;) So now I'm using the pics of her and I to make a super cute mini. It's been a lot of fun, but it'll be a little while before I'm done. Which is actually a good thing since I ran out of photo paper. And then ran out of ink... So even after the photo paper gets here, I'll still be waiting for thi ink which I likely won't get for at least another week. So it's a good thing I have something to work with! And of course, I could always dig out all of our photos that I used to print and put in photo albums :)
The pps on the LO are a mix of 2 G45 lines (one of my absolute fav brands ever!!) - Playtimes Past and A Proper Gentleman. I put 3 MME brads in the O's in the title - doesn't it look fun?

My Girl - 3Birds
I posted on 3Birds today:
I just can't get enough of the Super Sticker Nestables!! I am sooo in love with these. I especially love the large pack with the circles, squares, etc. For this LO, I used the half-circle sticker. It's so easy! Who needs all those circle-cutting tools they sell, when you can just use these. You get so many since you can take them all apart. I keep using them and I've still barely made a dent. You can dress up your stickers with some stickles, like I did here for emphasis and dimension. I also used two of the borders here. Again, SO easy. Usually, you would have to sit there and use a border punch, but with the stickers, you just peel and place on your LO and all done :) And if you look closely, I also used some photo corners.
I also LOVE the new Bright cardstock. I had to restrain myself - I almost went through all my turquoise in one day! They're so perfect as mats for photos because they're so bright, they make your photo pop against any background. Love, love, love! Here, I also used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch to make bright happy butterflies out of the new cardstock. So pretty.
The little chipboard saying "sometimes I'm so sweet even I can't stand it" is adhered with 3D foam dots. Even though the chipboard comes with adhesive on the back, you don't have to use it - you can still add foam dots to give it a little dimension.
Supplies:
Patterend Paper: Focus on Photos
Cardstock: Must Have Brights Cardstock
Stickers: Super Sticker Nestables
Chipboard: Sticky Sparkly Vs. 5 Play on Words
Swirls (red): Paper Trails
Sticker Letters: Overstuffed Kit
Flowers: Perfectly Pretty Petals

Charmed Layouts :)
Today was my first time blogging for Creative Charms! Here's what I posted:
First up, I have a layout using brand new paper from Echo Park. The line is called a Walk in the Park, and so is this layout. Don't you think the Creative Charms flowers and butterfly add so much? It just wouldn't be the same without them.
Supplies:
Vintage Poppies with Pearl Brads - BURGUNDY
Vintage Sequin Flower with Pearl Center
Knitter's Garden - PINK flowers & butterfly
And I have another layout, this one about my little boy. Even though it's a "boy" layout, I thought the little blue flowers went nicely with the theme and the pretty Collage Press paper.
Supplies:
Knitted Flower - BLUE
And last, I have a little card I made using some My Mind's Eye scraps I had left over from a kit. I'm not much of a card maker, but Creative Charms make it easy to add just the right kind of cute touch.
Supplies:
Strawberry Assortment
Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my projects and are inspired to incorporate some Creative Charms into your own!

Upsy Daisy layouts!
I also wanted to share some layouts I made with pretty Upsy Daisy pp I found. My favorite color is purple and not a whole lot of scrapbooking pp is, but this pp was just perfect! Take a look and tell me you don't agree that they have the cutest pp :)
First up, My Joy:
The Moment:
Did I tell you I bought me a new Sizzix Big Shot? And Spellbinders nestabilities (I think?) - well, they make die-cut circles that nest inside each other. I love it! It's so perfect for making these round flowers. Soooo fun :) I'm now addicted to making little lollipop flowers. (Case in point - see Lo above and Lo below)
And finally, Tweet Slumber:

Upsy daisy!
Yes, literally.... :) Kim, the DT coordinator for Upsy Daisy, very sweetly and generously sent me some brads...all the way from England...for absoultely no reason, other than to be nice! That was so awesome to come home to, and find in my mailbox.
Here, take a look at all the goodies she was so generous to share with me:
I made her a thank you card with the pretty Upsy Daisy pp :)
