My dad will be visiting his long-time friends next month, and he had a photo of all of them together from 10 years ago that he wanted to give them. SO he asked me to make something for him - his only requirement was that it be "not too big" and that I include a quote form a song (which I did, on the back of the tray - see last pic). The tray is small - about 7"x7", which is really cute. I used Prima "Almanac" A4 pp pad and lots of metal Tim Holtz embellies - clock, gears, corners for the tray, pen nib, as well as the bottles, etc. The metal flower and butterfly are actually from Creative Charms. The laser-cut chipboard sign and scroll are from Scrapmatts, and I finished them off with WOW Embossing Powder.

Love how your printers tray turned out! A wonderful photo and I love all of the goodies you added, especially the Tim Holtz corners.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Ilene, What a lovely printer's tray. Such a nice idea to do the tray with all of the perfect elements to show it off. It's so much nicer than just in a frame. It's a true piece of art for your Dad's friends. I know they will cherish ths special gift. Wonderful!
