MiscMe Vacation mini album!

Are you guys ready for a picture overload?? I used a MiscMe 8x9 binder to scrap our trip to the Dominican Republic last November 2013. I'm really not into "project-life" type scrapping where you do a layout per week... too much pressure. But I do love mini albums about trips and such, and this was perfect since I had SOOO many pics from the trip that they would have been hard to fit in a regular mini album.

I used the BoBunny "Modern Miss" MiscMe inserts that were perfectly shaped and sized for the divided page protectors. I also used Modern Miss embellies such as stickers and chipboard. And I added some things from my stash - some of the stuff is super old, like the Making Memories vacation transparencies I added, and the Fiskars rub ons... I probably had both of these for almost 10 years now. But they still looks great! If you want to use old supplies, just mix them in with newer stuff and it really freshens them up and they still look great.

I kept the cover plain so I can slide it on a shelf between other albums, and on the side (which is the only part that will be visible once it's shelved), I added "2013". Ok, here goes :)

I hope you guys enjoyed the album! And be sure to check back the rest of this week - I will be posting various projects all through the week.

BoBunny LO using "Souvenir"!

Just wanted to share a new layout I created, using BoBunny's newest release "Souvenir". It's a gorgeous travel-themed collection, and it was perfect for this pic of DH in Egypt. Also, be sure to check out BoBunny's FB Page - I have another layout I created, using "Souvenir" to go along with this one - and that one is of a pic of me in Egypt :) You can also find my other LO and connect with BoBunny on Twitter @BoBunnyPress and on their Pinterest, where they always share their DT's creations - and it's conveniently organized by project type.

Using 100% BoBunny here, including the paper, buttons, chipboard, stickers, bling, and flower. As well as the awesome new Glimmer Spray I used to add a few drops. I just LOVE the shimmery effect.

Some life happenings...

Hi guys, I decided to edit my post to remove some info I shared, since I don't necessarily want it out there in blogosphere permanently. Thanks for stopping by and checking in on me. Things are going well with me, and I will try to do better about posting more to the blog and making more YouTube videos!

I'll leave you with a couple pics - DH took these with his phone yesterday (5/4/14) when we visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I am pleased to say that both kids actually enjoyed it. My son's favorite part was all the armor and my daughter's were the sculptures. And they were both somewhat astonished by the room with all the scribble-scrabbles (ahem... modern art :)

Monster Decor

I used the new "Our Lil' Monster" collection from Bo Bunny to create this frame for my son Dexter's room. His only request for it was that it have "a lot" of monsters... I think I fulfilled that pretty well! I used an unfinished frame from Michael's and painted it white to begin with. The inner dimensions are 12x12, so with the wide outer frame, it's a pretty large piece. I loved all the monsters in this collection and the bright colors! I used the papers, die-cuts, chipboard, bling, and stickers to complete this project. I also used foam adhesive to pop up a lot of the elements for more dimension. Thanks for taking a look!

Finally scrapping back to school!...

I know, I know, the school year is almost over!! Although I'm glad I waited, since Bo Bunny just released this awesome "Pop Quiz" collection, which is perfect for scrapping all the school pics. So this one is of Morgan, on her first day of 4th grade. All the elements - chipboard, die-cuts, layered stickers, buttons, brads, etc - are all from the "pop Quiz" collection.

Scrapping myself... for a change :)

I really love the new Bo Bunny "Modern Miss" collection, so I just couldn't resist. This is a pic of me from 6 years ago, when DH and I went to Egypt. That's the Nile river behind me. What a trip... sigh. (A little off topic, but I did scrap the entire trip to Egypt in a huge mini album - I posted the pics up in my 2Peas gallery - it should be in the beginning of my gallery somewhere... if you want to see it and can't find it, just let me know and I'll provide a link).

Anyhoo... the challenge was to use washi tape and this collection comes with great Bo Bunny washi tape - the film strip one is my fave. I used it to add some unity to the LO in various areas, and then I used on chipboard and cut it out with my Sizzix Tim Holtz movers and shapers mini heart die to make a matching heart embellishment. Washi tape is so great - if you don't like how it comes out, just peel it off!

All the products on this LO are form the "Modern Miss" collection - buttons, washi, paper, chipboard, die-cuts, bling, etc. The yellow flowers are by Bo Bunny as well.

Bo Bunny Misc Me

I've never tried this kind of scapping before, but Bo Bunny sent me a ton of their awesome Misc Me products, so of course I was excited to try something new. The amazing thing about it, is it goes soooo fast! I decided to use one of my favorite collections by them - the brand new "Modern Miss". I love everything about it - the artsy feel, the colors, the patterns, it's just super fun. And I thought it went well with our recent trip to Dominican Republic from end of November/ beginning of December of 2013. The photos had all the blues and pinks, and a really fun sunny feel. I took a lot of pics on the trip as always, and when I realized how easy it would be to scrap them using the Misc Me system, I went a bit nuts and printed nearly 100 of them... LOL. The Misc Me collection also comes with 2x3, 4x6, 6x9 card inserts for the albums. I made a couple spreads, and it was really fun! I also used some Bo Bunny wooden embellies, flowers, stickers, and die-cuts.

Bo Bunny Cards!

I made a couple cards with the new Bo Bunny collection "Baby Bump" - this pp is so cute, and I love the mix of soft colors with blacks. Perfect for a baby shower gift, or a new baby. And of course, perfect for scrapping your pregnancy or baby's first years.

For he first card, I used lots of bling, chipboard, and washi tape from the collection, and decorated the inside, as always.

For the 2nd card, I used buttons from the collection and added hand stitching. I also used double dot cardstock, which is super nice and thick and textured. I decorated the inside as well.
