Make your own rubber charms!

Hey guys, check out my tutorial on the Imaginsice blog on how to make your own rubber charms!

Scrapmatts flowers and Greeting Farm

Wanted to share another card I made, using a Greeting Farm stamp, colored with Copics, and paired with lots of Scrapmatts laser-cut words and flowers. I inked the flowers and topped them with Glossy accents. The paper is Kaisercraft "Miss Nelly".

Scrapmatts and my lovely Paper Lovelies kit!

Those two make a great combo. I scrapped a picture of myself and my father using this boyish paper, but with the help of the pretty Scrapmatts words and fern leaves, I made it work for a more nostalgic and feminine layout.

Sunshiny Days

With winter in full swing, I have sunshine on my mind, so I thought I'd do a summery layout. I used the Gratitude stamp set - it makes wonderful heart borders and I love the definition, which I used here as well. I also used the Suzy West Collection "Cotton Candy" embossing powder on the wooden banner - it came out bright and pretty, but still vintage and distressed.

My girly girl

Imaginisce recently had a swap with Scrapbook Adhesives so I was lucky enough to get some really awesome adhesives to work with. For this LO, I again used the Sole Sisters collection and gave my I-Rock a really good workout :)

A Nouveau Altered Frame

This is the 3rd and final day of the new Nouveau Girl release from Some Odd Girl - make sure you check out the blog to see the new stamp set revealed today called "Fan", as well as "Dancer" from Monday, and "Wishes" from Tuesday. I decided to use both "Dancer" and "Fan" to alter this wooden frame. Again, I used Kaisercraft Papers and the quote inside is from their line "Velvet Ensemble". I just love this wuote and it went perfectly with these gorgeous new stamps. All coloring is using Copic markers.

Do you know Tilda?

I'm talking about Tilda from Magnolia stamps....she's super cute and has a HUGE fan base. I thought I'd try a Tilda stamp out, so I bought one - "Tilda with a Heart". I used Pink Paislee "Vintage Vogue" pp and a Crafter's Workshop stencil to mist the flower background.

Halloween anyone?

Ok, I made this back in October, but haven't shared until now. It's an altered cheap little wooden plaque. I got it for 50 cents at my daughter's school sale. Might have been hand-made. Painted over the sides with orange acrylic paint, then covered with crackle medium, and then painted over it with black - makes for a cool black-on-orange vintage crackle effect. Then covered the inside with some paper, and went to town decorating. Added glossy crackle accents to some of the stickers, and half pearls for the pumkin's eyes - that was my daughter's favorite part :)

Winter Sport

DH loves to go skiing with Morgan, although it doesn't happen very often. So I thought they'd like it if I scrapped a pic of them skiing :) The pp, stickers, letters, and die-cut roll up flowers are all from "Winter Wonderland" from My Little Shoebox. Love the colors!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Thought I'd share another cute kraft bag I altered. I got 13 of these at Michael's for $3 (after coupon), so they're a great deal. I used the adorable "Grow" stamp set from Some Odd Girl, and colored her up with Copics. The pp is Pink Paislee "Vintage Vogue" and a little bit of Echo Park's Valentine's pp from last year. The lamp is a Tim Holtz die - this is actually a die cut that Kathy was so sweet to send me :) Don't you think this makes for a perfect Valentine's Day gift bag? Although I'm thinking I'll probably use it for a friend's birthday or my mom's birthday. It adds the perfect personal touch to any gift.

Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition!!

I'm guessing none of my friends will be surprised to see that I'm applying for the Graphic 45 DT. I think I've made it abundantly clear that G45 paper speaks to me, inspires me, and brings out the best in me. It's vintage, futuristic, edgy, and daring, and I can think of nothing better than getting to play with it for a whole year as a DT member. So here goes....word of warning, this will be LONG! Also, all the way at the bottom, I'm including all the YouTube videos I've made about my G45 projects.

These are in no particular order, so I will start with a LO of me :)

A birthday card for my husband:

A card using the gorgeous poppy paper and "Lulu Loves Poppies" stamp...they were begging to to be paired!

Another layout about me as a little girl, and one of my favorite layouts from about a year ago:

A Christmas card, using a stamped image that I colored with Copics and used some of the paper to paper piece her outfit:

A page about my daughter on the first day of school:

I altered a little wooden wagon and a chipboard mini to fit in it. For pics of the mini itself, you can check out the Blog Post where I shared lots of pics.

A fun layout about my daughter and I:

A little wooden frame I altered, incorporating a stamped image that I colored with Copics:

I just had to throw in this layout about my grandmother:

A 2012 Desk Calendar...I'll share a couple pictures here, but to see all the months and close-ups, please check out my Blog Post HERE.

A card where I used various embossing powders and techniques, and my very last sheet of "A Proper Gentleman":

My good friends know I like nothing better than G45, so Carrie was sweet enough to send a "Magic of Oz" paper pad to me for my birthday...here's a thank you card I made for her:

A truly mixed media project for home decor:

A Flamenco Halloween, about my daughter this past October:

A 2012 hanging wall calendar using Maya Road bottle caps, lace, and the pretty "Once Upon A Springtime" (for more close-ups, see my blog post HERE):

And here are some videos from my YouTube channels about my G45 projects (in no particualr order):
