Back to School :)

This is Morgan going off on that big yellow bus - first day of Kn, from a few years ago (she started 3rd grade a couple weeks ago already!). I used a TON of the I-Top from Imaginisce here to make all the awesome brads. The pp is Imaginisce "Sole Sisters" - I love how versatile that line is...the primary colors are really great for a back to school LO.

I just love pics of the two of them together...totally melts my heart! The laser-cut chipboard is all Scrapmatts and the green vines are from Flourish With A Bling. And I'm still in love with Amy Tangerine's "Sketchbook" line!

Pumpkin Patch!

Yep, that season is almost here. Dexter LOVED the pumpkin patch, especially the hayrides, and he can't wait to go again! I was lucky enough to be one of the CHA giveaway winners from the BO Bunny blog, and I won the "Apple Cider" collection! I used a Scrapmatts laser-cut chipboard frame that I added texture paste to, and lots of various coloring mediums. The gorgeous cloth flowers and black bling swirls are all from Flourish With A Bling.

Scrapmatts lift challenge

The Challenge this month at Scrapmatts is to scraplift a DT member's work. The DT all joined in and I lifted one of the very, very talented Sonia Thomason's gorgeous LO "Lovely". Catching Up! (LOTS to share :)

Hi guys, looks like I haven't posted in a bit! Oops....!! I was sick, and then fell behind in work stuff as a result, and of course catching up with all that took priority. But I'm back now :) So, as a result, I have lots and lots to share over the next week or so. I'm going to start with a gift bag, but definitely keep checking back, there's lots more coming!

This is an altered gift bag - the doily is from Punky Sprouts, and the gold spray is "Glitter Dust" by Therm O Web (in gold). I sprayed the entire craft bag, as well as the tattered clock I cut out of chipboard with my Big Shot.

The extremely adorable stamp is a Gorjuss girl, colored with Copics. Flowers are Webster's Pages and Prima, and the gold butterfly is a pin I got in my RAK from Scarlett.

Cheery Lynn Dies!

Imaginisce had a product exchange with Cheery Lynn dies, and I was thrilled to get a set of 3 corner dies, a lace border die, and the gorgeous French Pastry doily die. Yes - thrilled. I love dies and I had that doily die on my wish list for a while now, so it was a little like Christmas morning when I opened my box and saw it sitting there :)

I made a layout, a card, and a tag. I love how the round Imaginisce embellies fit so beautifully into the doily die. And I love now being able to make my own doilies out of any paper, to match the collection I'm working with.

Morgan + Eva

Just wanted to share a cute pic of Morgan and Eva yesterday evening. DH took this pic, using the waterproof camera, so I'll have to get some better shots later :)

Welcome Eva!

This past Sunday, we got a Russian Tortoise. Her name is Eva and she is such a cutie. Our main task right now is to fatten her up a bit, which isn't proving to be so easy - she's not a big eater. Maybe as she gets more comfortable with her new home and us, this will change. I started a new blog, just for her, so be sure to check it out: Eva The Russian Tortoise Blog

Guest DT!

I'm the guest designer for Angie Delarie digi stamps for August! How cool is that :) Her stamps are always cute with a funky twist, and I had a blast working with them. The new release that I got to work with is a Little Red Riding Hood set:

I made a card using Little Red Riding Hood herself - I have her sitting on some grass, next to a tree - the grass and tree both come from Flourish With a Bling.

I also made a LO using the woodsman and the grandmother. I though the grandma was too funny with her glasses and hair bun...reminded me of someone LOL I used Amy Tangerine "Sketchbook" pp and the really cool black flourishes are also from Flourish With A Bling.

A halloween birthday :)

I know this is a bit early, but I made a birthday card for DH - his birthday is October 27th...and I love the Martha Stewart candy embellie - dark side candy, eat if you dare LOL The stamp is from Ktaftin' Kimmi, colored with Copics, the pp is G45, and the flourish is from Flourish With A Bling.

I've been watching Bakcyardigans too much. If any of you have seen it, then you'll know where I got the title for this post form :)

Today, I'm sharing a LO about our little forest excursion back in April - we found a homemade zip line and got to give it a couple go's. I used Bo Bunny pp and Flourish With a Bling "Adam" vine. The laser-cut chipboard clock and butterflies are from Scrapmatts.
