Using up the last bits...

Today, I wanted to share some projects with the "Surprise" collection from Bo Bunny. I really love this collection, and had already made a pretty big mini with it, so I didn't have a whole lot left - just one full sheet and a bunch of scraps (left over from cutting out the mini album pages). SO I thought it would be fun (and useful) to finish it all off. I had the one full sheet, which was perfect for doing a layout, and I figured I could make a bunch of cards with the scraps.

My kids have a constant stream of friends' birthday parties to go to, and almost every weekend I need a cute little card for a kid's birthday party. I know as soon as the kid gets home, the card is likely going in the trash, so I didn't want to make anything too fancy - just fun, bright, and cheerful.

So first off, here is my layout. Even though this is a very birthday-themed collection, this particular sheet was perfect for a non-birthday layout.

And here are all the cards... I ended up making 9, and I actually had some more scraps left over - I could probably squeeze another few cards out of it. I simply used paper, images cut out from the paper, stickers from the collection, some brads, pop dots, and a chipboard embellie from the collection.

Loving the new Bo Bunny collections!!

I really love all the new Bo Bunny collections from this summer's CHA, so I decided to try to include a whole bunch of them on this LO :) I used "Elf Magic", "The Avenues", and "Silver & Gold". They're all so different, and you'd never think they would go together, but all the Bo bunny lines always mix and match so well!

The photo is of my daughter from last year's Halloween... I can't believe we're almost at that time again.

Life in the fast lane!

Not long ago, I scrapped a super cute pic of my son (well, at least I think so ;) The EP "Scoot" collection was perfect - the images, the colors, matched not just the photo itself, but my son's personality as well.

Create!

Wow, it's been a couple weeks since I've posted, and all I can say is... school started and things got busy! But I think they're starting to get back into something of a routine, so I'm back :)

I wanted to share a LO I created a few weeks ago, but never got around to posting. I used MME paper ...the last tiny bit I had left of that collection - Miss Caroline - Fiddlesticks... I soooo love this collection. The phtos are of my kids coloring/drawing/etc at my scrap table. In my scrap room, I have one of those huge, fold-out, plastic banquet tables, so I use one half, and on the other half, I put two chairs for them, so we can all create together.

Happy September!!

How can it be September already?? Well, today I'm sharing a layout using the new collection by Bo Bunny "The Avenues". The challenge was to use stamps, and it was perfect for this assignment - since DS is posing in front of a tree, I wanted to add a wood grain pattern to the LO, and the wood grain stamp allowed me to do just that.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: The Avenues, Courtyard, Doors, Stripe/ The Avenues
Stickers: The Avenues Combo Sticker; Autumn Song Dimensional Noteworthy: The Avenues
Brads: The Avenues
Jewels: The Avenues
Chipboard: The Avenues 12 x 12; The Avenues Layered Chipboard
Stamps: Wall to Wall Textures Stamp
Blossoms: Harvest Orange Daisy

October Afternoon week!!

Hey guys, this week I'll be posting one OA layout each day until Friday - I was looking through my stuff and came across my huge OA stash and decided to try and make a little dent in it :) This first LO is my DS as a baby. The floral pp matched the blanket in the photo really well. I got the title idea from the sheet of paper - "The Sandman Comes - he leaves me dreaming wondrous dreams of charming, far-off lands".

A beautiful moment...

At the end of the last school year, one of my daughter's field trips luckily fell on a Thursday, so I was able to go since that is the day I go into work late. I used up almost all that was left of my Prairie Chic collection by Bo Bunny (I sooo love that paper!!). I also used a Prairie Chic sticker, as well as a large Bo Bunny doily. The brads are from my old stash of Creative Charms.

My Dexter

Good morning! A bright and colorful layout about my son, using the "Hopscotch" collection from Colorbok. It's a gorgeous "signature" paper pad, so the papers are double-sisded. It had a lot of pink in it, but also really great blacks, greys, teals, and greens, so I figured I could make it work for a boy layout :)

I also added a whole lot of embellishmets from the Heidi Grace "Cartwheel" collection - epoxy sticker buttons, bling, and canvas sticker banners. And that white plastic circle? It's the left-over from the ATG gun cartridge:

A proper little gentleman

A little card to share today, using a Paper Nest Dolls stamp colored with Copics. The pp is "Swagger" by Fancy Pants, and the buttons are theirs as well. Enjoy!

Dreams do come true...

And today I'm sharing a dream-come-true kind of moment. It's hard to formulate the right words to adequately share my excitement... when I got the email from Kris, I admit I read it a few times - I just couldn't believe my name was really meant to be there...... I made the Bo Bunny DT!!

You know, that pp I buy ALL THE TIME. I don't think they've ever had a collection I didn't like and some of their releases have been my favorites of all time. And the other girls on that DT?? Super talented ladies... I can't even believe I will be creating alongside them. And some of them have been on the DT for years and years - what other proof would you need that Bo Bunny is an amazing company to work for - no one ever wants to leave!!

I am sooo looking forward to starting this new journey :)

Here is the entire DT:
