Copic cards week (Day 1)

Hey guys, this week I'm going to do a card a day, Mon through Friday. It'll be fun! All the cards are made using cute Paper Nest Dolls Digi Stamps (available HERE) and colored with Copics. First up, we have a cute Airplane boy. The pp is 6x6 "Craftsman" by Prima. The gears are by Tim Holtz.

I can't stop scrapping with the "Carpe Diem" January kit from Flying Unicorn! This LO is using the "Serenade" pp and envelope embellies by Basic Grey that is part of the kit.

Sweet Contemplation

Another LO using the wonderful Flying Unicorn January kit "Carpe Diem"! Here, I used the Fancy Pants pp that comes with the kit. I also die-cut the butterflies out of the corrugated cardboard paper that came in the kit.

More Copic Cards!

I have some more cards to share using the sweet and adorable Paper Nest Dolls Stamps - they're all available at Christine's Etsy Shop. Also, be sure to check out the newly updated blog and main store site, they look amazing. As always all the coloring is done with Copics.

Ok, here is the first one - it's a little cowboy. I used a combo of My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon paper.

Here is a Get Well Soon card, using a really sweet umbrella girl stamp. All the pearls are from Flourish With A Bling, and the paper is Echo Park.

And last, a funky little birthday card called "Make A Wish". It's a little lemonade stand girl and the flourishes are again from Flourish With A Bling. The paper is a combination of My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper.

The Paper Nest Dolls!!

I have some very exciting news to share today...I was asked to be the DT Leader for The Paper Nest! Christine is the owner and she is the sweetest lady - I met her on Facebook. She owns a Scrapbooking store in FL and she's working toward her dream - designing her own stamp line - the Paper Nest Dolls! I will be leading the team for that. At first, they will only be digi stamps, but in a few months, they will be available as rubber stamps as well. They are soooo adorable. I've seen several of them, and they're all super cute. She based them on her kids :)

A Christmas Mini!

Today, I wanted to share a new mini I created using one of my very favorite mini albums - the Soul Sprout. I really love all the different shapes and sizes of this mini - makes it so fun and funky!

We went to Sesame Place for their Christmas special a few weeks ago. On the cover, I included a sticker we got there for the mini title "A Very Furry Christmas":

On this page, I was able to add a little kraft envelope and put our 4 tickets inside for safe-keeping:

I added the tag that comes with the mini as its own little page:

For the canvas page, I used my Lawn Fawn Background stamp set to stamp out the background, and then sprayed with green Glimmer mist.

Doesn't the Punky Sprouts 'Lil canvas petals banner fit perfectly here? Such a fun embellishment, especially for this boy page:

Another sweet Sophie card :)

I have another card to share, created using this Sophie digi stamp from Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. I colored her up with Copics and added some gorgeous bling from Flourish with a Bling, as well as some glitter for a little extra sparkle. The cloud and sun embellies are also from Flourish With A Bling. And the pp is from a lovely 6x6 MME pad.

And the always gorgeous crystal flourishes and beautiful flowers are from Flourish With A Bling. Hope you guys like it! Flying Unicorn Guest DT!

Today, I have the pleasure of sharing projects I made using the Flying Unicorn January 2013 kit - "Carpe Diem"!! It's so gorgeous, it's unbelievable. I had the main kit and all the add-ons to design with, so there was a ton of stuff! OMG, I was so excited to open my package. It was full of Pink Paislee (Portfolio) and Fancy Pants....and...Basic Grey's "Serenade"! I was so excited to get that - I've been dying to get that line but it was sold out everywhere. It'[s even more gorgeous in person. Also, you get lots of cool mediums and other goodies to design with. I supplemented with my lovely stash of Flourish With a Bling flourishes (and a fence embellie).

There's also a box, with a 6x6 mini that fits inside, and enough 6x6 Magnolia pp's to finish it! It has a cover + 5 pages and my plan is to finish it off with my collection of Magnolia stamps - I have 5 now, so it's perfect :) So far, I did alter the box itself. The mini album will be about my fave quotes. The top I altered using a corrugated cardboard pp sheet that was part of the kit:

Goodbye Imaginisce!

Sadly, the time has come for me to bid goodbye to Imaginisce. It has been an amazing year of getting to work with their tools and products. The paper lines and all that goes with them have been absolutely adorable, and the tools have been some of my favorites (I-Top anyone?? Gotta love being able to make your own brads and flair :)

The team was such an amazing team to work with - sweet and talented. We had absolutely no drama, and I can honestly say I like every single one of the wonderful ladies I worked with. Cari was the best DT leader, very caring and organized, which helped make this year all that it was. I'm going to miss all of them. On that note, I wanted to share a few of my favorite layouts from the past 12 months, using some of my favorite paper lines from this year. And this won't be the last from me - I created four layouts for the winter CHA show, so I'll be sharing those in a few months...let's just say that you're going to LOVE the new lines ;)

Luvin' me some Punky Sprouts and My Little Shoebox - what a great combo! I couldn't wait to get my hands on the "Oh Deer" like by MLS, it's sooo cute! But then again, MLS is well-known for its cuteness factor :) I thought the woodgrain pp was perfect to pair with some Lil' Stems from Punky Sprouts - both have a more earthy, natural appeal.

For the LO, I thought it would be fun to cut apart the journaling blocks pp and use a part of it to frame the photo:

To create the canvas flower, I used some canvas Lil' Stems - I simply cut it up, glued it to a cardstock base, and finished off with a punched flower and a brad - super easy to create masculine flowers:

I also used the canvas Lil' Stems to decorate the punch-out cardstock borders that come with this collection. I think adding the canvas detail made the border more earthy, masculine, and interesting:
