Sweet Nothings November Challenge
The new challenge for Sweet Nothings Stamp Company is up on their BLOG today, and it's a color challenge. I used Balloon Sophie (colored with Copics and printed on X-Press It paper) to make a card. I trimmed the balloons out, and added a butterfly that Sophie has on a leash of twine (from The Twinery :)
The pp is 6x6 pad of Bo Bunny "Gabrielle". Hope you like!
And here is the finished inside. The butterfly is Bo Bunny and the background pp is Webster's Pages.
And here is the inspiration photo for the color challenge:

"Wish" Card
Today, I wanted to share a card I created using two of my favorite things - a Saturated Canary stamp colored with Copics and Cheery Lynn dies. The challenge at Saturated Canary is to create a shaped card, and the challenge at Cheery Lynn is to create a vintage card. I used some gorgeous Crate Paper, which has my favorite combination - bright and vintage all in one.
Rubber Stamp: Saturated Canary (Circus Trixie)
Cheery Lynn dies:
- French Pastry Doily
- Dancing Doily Lace Border
- Lace Corner Deco B

Happy Halloween 2012!
Just a couple highlight pics from earlier today...all the inspiration for scrapbooking that I ever need! :)
Saying goodbye isn't easy to do...
Especially when you're saying goodbye to a wonderful company like Scrapmatts. I have been with them for 2 years - since November 2010, and I have enjoyed every moment of getting to create with their gorgeous laser-cut chipboard designs. Sophie (whom I actually got to meet last this past April!) and Andrew are the sweetest, most generous owners and Angella is a wonderfully talented DT coordinator. The DT is such a great group, so it's definitely sad to say goodbye, even though I know I'll see everyone around in cyberspace. Over the past 2 years, I uploaded nearly 200 photos to my Ning gallery there, and I think that's a great take-away from this experience that I will be able to hold onto forever. Here are just a few favorites :) They go in order from oldest to newest:

Saturated Canary card
I recently discovered really gorgeous new stamps - Saturated Canary. They sell digi stamps in the shop, but you can also purchase rubber stamps at some stores. I bought three from 7 Kids College Fund...here they are:
Super cute, right?? I also found some freebies to use in the meantime, and created a card for the challenge on the Saturated Canary blog (you can find the challenge HERE). I colored her up with Copics, as usual. Since it was a really fun color challenge, I got to use my 6x6 Prima "Craftsman" paper pad. I stitched on the two mats, and added some Prima flowers, Prima pearl flourishes, and a couple old K & Company metal embellies from my stash. The gorgeous laser-cut chipboard clock is by Scrapmatts.
And here is the inside of the card:
If you want to hear me ramble a little bit about the card and my new stamp purchase, I made a video for my YouTube channel:
