DS is 2...so I have 3 LO's about him!
Well, tomorrow is his Birthday so he'll be 2 next time I see him! How time flies. So it's actually really appropriate that I have 3 new layouts to share and they're all about him! This is all using Scraptacular's March kit (info HERE) - there's a bunch of Jillibean Soup, LYB, 3Bugs in a Rug, and really awesome Thickers - they're kraft!! I totally love these ones! As I mentioned before, this kit is so great if you have a little boy, especially. The papers are really cute :)
First up, "1st ER" - all about our first trip to the ER a few months ago...and yes, that orange band-aid in the bottom left corner is the actual one he got in the ER...kinda gross? LOL I love to preserve little artifacts and mementos.
Next up is Sleepy Boy...Dexter usually falls asleep on the way home from grandparents.
And last, I have "Dexter Faces" - these pics are from about a month ago, so pretty recent. That's my Dexter nowadays!
I met with Dexter's daycare teacher today and she told me that he is pretty laid back and behaves and listens very well, and is totally ready to move on to the 2 year old room. He's such a sweet boy too, and always runs up and hugs my leg and tells me he loves me. Don't get me wrong, he does have a lot of attitude! Things definitely have to be done his way, and he loves to be very self-sufficient and do everything for himself. And he's very stubborn and won't take no for an answer. A little difficult at times, but I guess a pretty good personality trait to have overall :)
So before I go, here are a few pics. Firs one is me, a few hours before giving birth. Yep, still smiling between contractions! LOL
And here is Dexter the day after he was born:
Here he is at age 1, having some birthday cake:

It's March!!
Can you believe it?? March 5th will be DS's 2nd birthday! It feels like not long ago I was going to the birth center, and now it's almost been 2 years. Well, a new month brings new updates! The March issue of Scrapstreet is now available. Check out my article on altered items :)
Also, I want to share the projects I made for February's issue, using TADA papers - they very generously sponsored our DT :)
Sprite:
And 2 cards:
The "Happy Birthday" chipboard sentiment is by Scrapmatts. I like how masculine this one is:
Also, don't forget that the Creative Charms Deal of the MOnth and Kit of the Month are now up for sale.
Also, the new Harmonie challenge is up on the blog (info on how to enter is HERE). The challenge was to use the colors purple, teal and green, and here is what I made with the new "Rococo" line:
I also posted on the Harmonie blog with another Disney LO, using their new "Fable de la Fontaine" line. I was happy to include the actual postcard I bought while at Animal Kingdom:
And I'll be back really really soon with another post sharing my 3 LO's for Scraptacular's March kit....such cute papers, especially if you have a boy!

Just wanted to share :)
Hi guys, it's almost March! Eek, where does the time go. Anyways, I just remembered some LO's I made a few weeks ago that never made it onto the blog so I thought I'd share. I created these when 2Peas was having their CHA social, which was "runway" themed. And "B is for..." actually won and I got a really awesome and generous prize package. They didn't specify what it would be when the winners were announced, just that we won something...so imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find a ton of brand new Webster's Pages CHA goodies! No paper, but everything else - their stitched tags, a bunch of flowers and berries, chipboard buttons, sparkler, etc. Really really very generous. I was so happy!! So here are my layouts:
"B is for..." which I entered in the "Accessorize" challenge, which was to use embellishments:
Next is "Oh, That Shirt!", and it was for the "When in doubt, wear red" challenge - basically, you had to use lots of red...obviously, I did :) BTW, in case you can't tell, that's DS's actual shirt that I cut the picture out of and scrapped...I thought it would be fun and make for good memories to preserve it:
And lastly, I have "Happy Fall" - this was for the "All about layers" challenge, which I think is self-explanatory:
So there you have it. For all of these, I was using up my Sassafras stash...maybe to make room for some of the new CHA releases...like, oh let's say, "Sweetly Smitten"? ;)
