More with the Snobby Walrus August Kit

First up - a mini album. The kit had a really cute deck of tiny Sassafras cards, so I had to make a micro mini about my little siblings :)

Here is a professional pic of DD and I from the beach...a little creepy?

And last - @ The Beach. This was actually DH's favorite LO.

I just couldn't resist the Graphic45 and had to do a vintage photo....the little 1-year-old baby in the pic is none other than my grandmother...who is now 85 (or 86..hmm..) anyhoo, the vintage G45 was perfect for this pic!

And here is my personal favorite LO of the ones I made (although DH and my parents liked a different one more). But I was so excited to get my hands on the Fancy Pants Roadshow graph pp and to mist all over it :) Soooo fun! And that burlap twine, the WP vintage sparklers, and AC Zepplin stickers were also soooo fun. I told you, I just loved this kit!! This LO was inspired by Larissa Albernaz's style. Although she's the real master at this, I still like how mine turned out :)

3Birds fast and easy birthday cards!

I posted this on 3Birds blog today:

I must confess I'm not much of a card maker. But the 3Birds products are just as great for cards as they are for scrapbook pages. When I realized I was in need of some quick and easy cards, I knew I just had to give it a go. Maybe you're not much of a card maker either, but you love to give handmade cards, since it makes the gesture that much more meaningful. If so, I hope my cards can show you just how easy making a card with 3Birds products can be. In fact, if you have cardstock, the 3D Embellishment Kit, and the Super Sticker Nestables, you're pretty much all set! My daughter is at an age where she goes to a lot of birthday parties, so I wanted to put together some fun, bright birthday cards that would be great for kids.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Focus on Photos
Sticker: Super Sticker Nestables
Embellishment: 3D Embellishment Kit
Bling: Bling Goodie Box

Supplies:
Cardstock: Focus on Photos
Patterened paper: Straight From the Nest
Letter Stickers: Overstuffed Kit
Sticker borders: Super Sticker Nestables
Embellishments: 3D Embellishment Kit
Bling: Bling Goodie Box

Supplies:
Cardstock: Focus on Photos
Letter Stickers: Overstuffed Kit
Sticker: Super Sticker Nestables
Embellishment: 3D Embellishment Kit
Bling: Bling Goodie Box

See - fast and easy, right? The new Super Sticker Nestables and the 3D Embellishments make cards simple even for a layout person like me :) Give it a shot - and we always love it if we inspire you to create something, so if we do, share your creation with us - just leave a comment to the post with a link back to your own project.

Congrats card for my brother!

I made a cute masculine congrats card for my brother (he's 3.5 years younger than me), using Cosmo Cricket's 6x6pp from The Boyfriend. It's the scan-tron pp...because...drum roll...my brother got into NYU's MBA program - it's a top 10 school, so yay!! Or, as the card says, Yippee!! He lives about 3 hour's drive away so I'll be mailing this one :)

I'm swimming in gorgeous scrappy stuff!!

Well, maybe not "swimming"....although I love the visual. Can you just imagine??

But I have some awesome news - check out Webster's Pages HERE - I won a yummy prize package of some of their new stuff!!! You all know how happy that makes me! I really can't wait to have it in my hands...so I can spread it around and roll in it...I mean so I can scrap with it. Ahem.

And some more scrappy goodness - I got my DT package from Creative Charms today and O.M.G....the little flowers and brads and butterflies are even cuter in person! Seriously, I was totally blown away by how adorable they are. My only problem now is trying to figure out which ones I want to use first!

In other news, I get to be GDT for Scribble Scrabble in December - how neat is that?! More awesome pp coming my way to roll around in...that is, make beautiful art with :) I think I'm going to get their two newest lines to work with and they are just too cute for words.

So that's all the news for now...stay tuned for the 1st of August, when I get to share some more DT work with you. I am so busy right now trying to finish up assignments for 3 different teams right now, all due end of the month. Eeek! But I'll make it - I just have to make one more card and that's it! You know, scrapping assignments are about the only ones I've ever had that I don't find myself procrastinating with. Just the opposite...must mean I'm onto something good!
