More super wonderful, good news! (Relating to my one love, Webster's :)

I got a very thrilling email this morning - I am a featured member at Webster's Pages Ning Site - you can see me there if you check out their Members Page!!

I don't think I have to restate just how much I LOVE Webster's Pages. If I only had one brand of pp to design with for the rest of my life, I would absolutely pick them! And that's saying a lot for a total paper addict like me LOL. I think when you're noticed it's always exciting, but when it's by someone you totally love, it's that much sweeter. It's a good Monday morning here at the Tell residence :)

In other news, sketch 193 is up at Scrapbook Challenges, and here is my take on it. If you aren't a member yet, come join us! It's free, it's fun, you get inspiration and the chance to win a wonderful prize! This month's prize is donated by our sponsor, Snobby Walrus Paper Crafts (yep, the one where I'm on the DT!).

Look for my work in...the new MM Book!!!

Wow, I am SUPER excited - I just got an email that one or more of my Layouts will be in the new MM Book that will be coming out soon. I am soooo excited!! I can't wait to find out which one(s). As I mentioned before, I submitted the max allowed - 10, so I am so glad that at least one got picked up!

Scraptacular's April Kit has hatched! (And RAK winner!)

Scraptacular's April Kit is revealed, and here's a little description:

Spring is in the air and on your pages with this beautiful kit filled with bright cheery colors. My Mind's Eye, Dear Lizzy, Thickers and more make up this fun kit!"

More info on the kits can be found HERE.

Here's a pic or all the goodies I got to play with (for some ideas on what can be done with them, see my post from yesterday):

And now for the RAK winner - thank you ladies for all the sweet comments, I loved reading them all! By way of random.org, the winner is Heather (of Scrapbooking Smiles) - Congrats!! Email me your addy to ileneemail@@yahoo.com and I'll get your MM vellum envelopes out in the mail ASAP. Thanks for playing along everyone!

Snobby Walrus DT!!

That's right ladies, I am a new SNOB! LOL Today, Snobby Walrus - an amazing online store and kit club (these kits are seriously gorgeous - see for yourself!) announced their new DT, and I made it!! I still can't believe it! So many talented and very deserving ladies tried out but space is limited, and I'm just so honored and excited that they picked me!! Here's the ANNOUNCEMENT! And they announced it in such a fun way :) I'm totally in love with this place and they have such a fun message board, to boot.

Funny story about how I found out - yesterday there was a ring on my door, and I had to run after the mailman like crazy because I need him to mail a letter for me. I came back to find that he left me a package...but I hadn't ordered anything! Well, come to find it was the gorgeous amazing Snobby Walrus May kit!! And it had a welcome to the DT letter inside. Well, obviously this was the coolest funnest way to find out - what could be a better welcome than all those amazing scrappy goodies that I totally wasn't expecting! It turned out that my box was supposed to get here today, AFTER the announcement was made. LOL! I'm thanking the scrappy gods for speeding the box along and putting me out of the misery of waiting to find out!

Thank you Snobby Walrus, Andrew and Tracy! You guys totally rock and I'm so looking forward to the next 6 months!!!

Here's a little pic of the goodness I got in the mail yesterday:

Scraptacular April Kit - my projects!!

The kit will be revealed tomorrow, but in the meantime - here is what I made with it! I thought the pp was absolutely adorable, but honestly, it was a bit of a step out of my comfort zone. I'm must more used to doing "pretty" than "cute". However, I'm so glad I got to try something new and I really like the results! More close-ups are in my gallery at 2Peas.

Be sure to check in tomorrow for the full kit reveal AND for the winner of my RAK (MM Vintage Findings Vellum Envelopes)
(you still have time to enter, if you comment on this post! And if you commented on the last post, you get two entries!)

OMG!! Webster's Pages, I HEART you!!

Oh my gosh, I don't even know what to say! My LO "It's a Beautiful Life" is a FEATURED PHOTO on Webster's Pages! Check it out - HERE - it's at the top of the page under "Featured Photos"!!! Wow, I'm totally speechless, since I am so madly in love with all things Webster's Pages. Yay!!

DD lost her tooth!

My 5-year-old baby lost her tooth this morning! And she'll be gaining $2 from the tooth fairy tonight. You should have seen her - she was so excited. I'm not sure if she was more excited to be a big girl without a tooth or that she'd be getting some money. LOL

Last day of Pamela's give away!

It's here, the final day - click here! Don't miss out!!

Everything Scrapp'n Blog Hop! And more LO's :)

Welcome to another blog hop, brought to you by Everything Scrapp'n! This is, of course, the wonderful store I had the honor of being GDT for the month of March. I wanted to share two more LO's I created - the last of my work as their guest. If you're just joining me, you can start the hop at the Everything Scrapp'n Blog.

First up is "It's a Beautiful Life", created for Teresa's challenge. As per the challenge, I used Webster's Pages, lots of blues and golds, and tons of flowers. The big gold flower is handmade by yours truly :) The other flowers are actually ones I took off regular silk flower branches you would use for home decorating - I love getting my flowers for scrap booking this way - there's lots of variety to make it fun, and it's far more economical. I also sprayed some with gold mist. I thought the pp was perfect to do a pic from my wedding.

Close Ups:

Supply List:
PP - Webster's Pages, Postcards from Paris - la boutique de jardin and Romantique chic; Stickles Gold; Double Flourishes Pearl - Soft Blue; and ZVA Taupe Flourishes (sold out)

My favorite product here? The stunning Webster's Pages pp of course! What could be better??

My 2nd LO is called "Anticipation", using more of the Bellezo MME line, and showcasing another pregnancy pic.

Close ups:

Supply List:
Bellezo - Belleza Paper; Bellezo - Papillion Paper; Bellezo - Wild Blossom Paper; Frame - Swirl/Jet; http://everythingscrappn.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23&products_id=358; Dots All Around Stencil (sold out)

My favorite product here? I loved the Black Diamond Stickles - I used it to make the little black dots on the circle to emphasize it. The LO wouldn't be the same without the stickles! I love how easy and economical it is to use stickles to add bling to your LO.

I also loved the Jet Swirl Frame by ZVA - all their stuff is so gorgeous!! And the wonderful thing is, I always use only parts of all the sirls for my LO's, so they last for many different pages. Here for example, I only used half, so I still have 2 more swirls left.

Ok, now hop on over to Suz's blog to see her wonderful creations.

More giveaways by Pamela!

Now she's giving away a newly released Fancy Pants Collection - check it out!

Pamela's Giveaways Continue!!

Check out Pamela's Blog for some more fabulous giveaways! - Click HERE - she's giving away stamp sets and one of the giveaways is 200 sheets of Rusty Pickle pp!

Different camera settings

Wow, what a difference the settings make. I have no time to figure it all out, it's way too complicated for me, but I thought I'd share this LO again, taken with a different setting - doesn't it look so much better?
