Beautiful memories

I found this pic of my mom with her grandmother, and I had to scrap it, of course. My mom's flower dress was a perfect match for the new "Rose CafĂ©" collection by BoBunny. The colors in the collection are really vintage and the patterns are flowery. I also used layered chipboard stickers, 12x12 sticker sheet, and buttons from the collection, as well as the "Noteworthy" die cuts. The flowers are by BoBunny as well. They were too pink for this layout, so I used BoBunny's new Glimmer Spray (bronze) to darken them. The bling swirls are also by BoBunny.

A butterfly must have a little sunshine...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is having a great one.

Thank you for stopping by today. I'm sharing my final layout I was able to make with the "Nest" paper collection by Webster's Page. I just love the "photo real" patterned papers that were included in this collection, and of course I had to use them. This sheet was perfect for a photo of Morgan in a green field peppered with tiny yellow flowers. Again, I added some "Magic Mesh" and stitched around the edges of the vellum to give it more definition. Again, the cardstock is BoBunny's "Double Dot" cardstock - it's thick and textured, and has wonderful colors to choose from.

Here's my layout. I hope you guys like it!

Have faith in yourself....

I created this layout using Webster's Pages "Nest" collection. I added in some really old "Magic Mesh" that I had in my stash, as well as a super old Prima bling swirl. The Prima light bulb is new, though :)

Be sure to stop by tomorrow - I'll share my 6th - and last - layout using this collection.

New York

Today I have another layout using "Nest" by Webster's Pages, and I went in a totally different direction with this one - it's a lot brighter and more modern. I cut out a little frame from the paper to put around NYC on the map. And I got to use a new Prima light bulb that I bought... so fun :) I also used some really old "Dew Drops" by Robin's Nest to put inside the flowers. I adhered them with Aleene's white glue, and was happy to discover that it dries completely clear.

Vintage Love

This week, I'm going to share four more layouts I made with the Webster's Pages "Nest" collection pack (12 patterned papers and 3 vellum sheets). I shared a couple last week, so in total, I was able to make 6 layered layouts and 13 cards. I only have a few itty bitty scraps left, and I did have to supplements with several sheets of cardstock - I used BoBunny double dot cardstock.

This layout is about my grandparents (my mom's parents). The paper was perfect for a vintage feel. I added some Studio Calico wood stars, Prima flowers and bling, lace, cameo, Melissa Frances resin frame, and Xyron machine to adhere the vellum. Staples, stitching, and Xyron are the best ways to adhere it without the adhesive showing.

Archery Lesson

Another layout today using the "Nest" collection from Webster's pages. This pp with all the pretty feathers on it was perfect for the photo of Morgan with all the arrows around her. She loved taking Archery. After "Hunger Games" and "Brave", she was all up for it. I remember being about her age and taking archery... so fun.

I added some real feathers (they came as a trim, making them super easy to work with). I also dug out some of my old "Magic Mesh" in lime green and added for texture. Again, stitching around the vellum to make it stand out a little more, and used tissue paper to frame the photo for a more airy feel.

The cardstock is BoBunny double dot, and the sparkly letters are Thickers. The little letters are from Webster's Pages. I popped up a lot of the elements, and used a La La Land die to make the leaves up top.

Young Love

I recently purchased the "Nest" collection from Webster's Pages, and I'm really in love with this paper. My Creative Sketches (brought to you by "My Creative Scrapbook" kit club) has a monthly sketch challenge, and I finally had time to enter it! I really loved their October sketch (link HERE), and it was the perfect opportunity to cut into the gorgeous paper. By the way, if you've never checked out their kits, you should do so (link HERE). They have the most gorgeous ones every month, and several to choose from, including a mini album one, etc.

Well, here's my layout! The picture is of my parents and it's spring time, so the paper fit perfectly. I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of the vellum, and a circle punch for the three circles. I also used some cheesecloth behind the Prima flowers, did some stamping with a Unity script stamp, and added some really old Robin's Nest dew drops to the flowers. Thanks for taking a look :)

Scrapbook Generation's "Create"!

Well, the latest issue of Scrapbook Generations "Create" Magazine is live, and BoBunny is the featured company! So the BoBunny DT was asked to create projects based on sketches provided in the magazine, and I did a one-page layout. I used the gorgeous "Madeline" collection, with a little of "Pop Quiz" thrown in, to scrap this photo of Morgan on her first day of school this year. 5th grade already! I also added BoBunny mists, bling, chipboard, die-cuts, Pearlscents, "Sugar" ink pad, and more.

To see the sketch my LO is based on, check out the latest issue of the magazine HERE. It's such a great publication and it's totally free! You can also check out this issue and all past issues on their main magazine page HERE.

"10 Questions" Mini Album

I love to make these albums once a year, where I ask Morgan 10 questions about herself. It's fun to see how the answers change over time, and it's a great snapshot of who she is in that moment. I got the idea years ago from Hilde Janbroers-Stolk. This year, I think I will make the first one for Dexter too.

I used the "Modern Miss" collection by BoBunny - the pre-printed mini album, the "Misc Me" inserts for journaling spots, chipboard, buttons, bling, stickers, washi tape, etc. I also traced around the edges of the pages and some of the cards to add more definition.

From my stash, I added some old Sassafras cardstock stickers, Thickers, a few Prima Flowers, and a couple ZVA flourishes.

If you want to see the video I made about it, it's available on my YouTube channel HERE.

Printer's Tray gift

I altered a Printer's Tray to give as a gift to my parents for their Anniversary. I used all BoBunny products, including jewels, laser-cut wood embellishments, and of course the gorgeous "Avenues" collection - papers, die cuts, chipboard stickers, layered chipboard stickers, etc. I also used the new Pearlscents to add some dots to the clock, birdcage, the wooden embellishments, and to the tray itself.

In the first row, are my mom and dad's pictures of them as kids. In the middle row are my brother and I, and in the bottom row are my kids (my brother doesn't have kids yet).

 And some close ups:
